Welcome to the United States of America – a global powerhouse with world-class cities, diverse landscapes, historical and natural importance and much more. The USA is one of the world’s most desired destinations, and each year the country welcomes millions of visitors.

Though Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States of America; one of the greatest cities on the planet – New York City – is the beating heart of the country. Shining with iconic monuments like the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge, and landmark buildings like the Empire State Building, the Flatiron and the One World Trade Center – New York City needs no introduction. However, NYC is not only skyscrapers. Take a gentle walk in Central Park, spread across 840 acres and you will feel a world away from the city hubbub. Want to understand why people call NYC the city that never sleeps? Visit Times Square at night. With endless eating options, places to explore and one of the world’s most renowned cityscapes, NYC is a megacity that one must visit if travelling to the US East Coast. Apart from NYC, New York state is home to a few other attractions as well, and Niagara Falls is the most notable one. One of the world’s most celebrated waterfalls, it is a group of 3 waterfalls and shared by both the USA and Canada. Visit the observation tower for a great view of the waterfalls, dumping millions of liters of water every minute. In the state of California, located at the opposite end of NYC – Los Angeles is the home of Hollywood and the world-renowned Disneyland. Behind-the-scenes tours of many popular Hollywood studios and the Hollywood sign define the city more than anything. With the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco is another megacity on the west-coast. Known for its amazing foggy climate and cool summers, the city’s rugged terrain contains some great architecture and Silicon Valley – a universal centre for innovation, technology and startups. In the south-west region of the USA lies the gambling and entertainment hub of the country – Las Vegas. Known as the Sin City, Vegas is a filled with casinos, luxury entertainment, fine dining, shopping and offers a vibrant nightlife. Chicago – located in the state of Illinois – is the third-largest city in the country and is home to the USA’s second-tallest building. The city’s striking architecture is what impresses the crowd the most. Miami, in the sunshine state of Florida, is a popular destination and is known for its pristine white-sand beaches. Miami Beach is the focal point of the city. Because of its world-class diving opportunities, Miami is flocked by thousands of underwater enthusiasts from all over the world.

Located far from the mainland, Alaska and Hawaii are the crown jewels of the USA’s tourism. While Alaska is known for its mountains, glaciers, fjords, rivers and wildlife; Hawaii’s volcanic terrain houses indigenous people and culture along with activities ranging from hiking and camping to surfing and diving. These are states that offer some of the best nature experiences in the country. Speaking of natural beauty, Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona is one of the focal points of the USA’s extraordinary natural treasures. This enormous national park is known for its millions of years of geological history and its stunning scenery.  Another important national park in the USA is the Yellowstone National Park – spanning across the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. This park is known for its canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and geysers and rich wildlife. For the record, Yellowstone is home to the highest numbers of geysers in the world. Yosemite National Park in California is another must-visit national park in the USA. Packed with waterfalls, granite monoliths and deep valleys, the park lures visitors with its amazing wilderness.

The United States of America is so vast and diverse that mentioning all its richness in a short introduction is next to impossible. Booking a trip to experience this amazing country is the best way to learn more about the USA.

Though Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States of America, New York City is the beating heart of the country.
